The captain had an MRI today and the data from the examination was substantially negative. The idea of a knee operation is not being considered for the moment. Paolo Maldini is doing better today and is experiencing less pain. The situation will be followed over the next 48 hours, after which it will be possible to make a prognosis on his recovery and return to the pitch.
